Subscribe to the Forum

In the Forum, choose the Index tab.

For each Category, there is an envelope icon to subscribe.

Click each Category of interest to you (using the drop down box on the top of the Index page speeds up the process a bit) and click the envelope icon.

You should receive email when that Category has a new post.

As per your guidance, I bought a SCHAEFER 7 SERIES 2250# SWL SNAP SHACKLES MAIN SHEET, VANG 4:1 80' NEW 1/2"LINE, I speced the line as per details I found to ensure.

I am going to attach at the end of the mainsail boom, and then to a pad eye. I was thinking a Wichard 607639 they are rated at 14110 working load.

Sound right? Harken shows crazy load rating for 30 knots based on a non-reefed mainsail, in this range?
