I know there are some Whitby's out there with bow thrusters, anybody care to share what the cost was?
Thanks,
Bob

It depends on which type you prefer. The tunnel type are less expensive, but need a lot of labour to install. The external are more expensive, but much quicker and less labour intensive to install. I bought this one about 6 years ago. Add batteries and cables. www.pleasureboatmarine.com/imtrasmex70c.html

Two years ago had a tunnel type Vetus thruster installed including labor was $13k here in Florida by a company that specializes in this. They made it look easy.

I installed my external thruster myself. It was not difficult and did not require expensive tools. Its a weekend job so it would be low cost for a yard to do.

Thanks to the replies. Unfortunately there was not a bow thruster under the tree and I suspect I will not find one under the boat ether. Sounds lie external may be the way to go.
