Tom, I know I did do text to revert to you once before and again moments ago. If you have not seen a response to your question from me, please let me know and I will do my best at a re-post, Douglas
In my response was a question with regards to the position of the centreboard infrastructure below the bulkhead at the forward companionway and slightly aft towards the motor going under the wet gear hanging locker. If this area is clear, that is where the original tank was placed on the Whitbys that were built in Canada and Fort Myers. I am not sure about the Brewer 12.8 though! I have the website address for Kracor.com and due to a recent other communication probably their product #. Recall just now that Steve & Marg on Lion's Paw, Can. W42 #315 just had a tank fabricated this spring and were happy with the mfg and price. We can contact them if they don't sign in on this string....Douglas and thanks for the accolades.....

Hi Doug and Tom,
I created a summary article from a thread on the Yahoo based list-serv several months ago. There are several manufacturers listed that were recommended by other owners. In addition, the last message in the summary talks about tank locations in a 12.8. Please let me know if and how the summary needs updating after you've explored your situation.
