Has anyone had any experience with wireless wind transducers .I am currently looking at the nasa clipper wireless wind setup. Our reliable simrad wired wind indicator masthead unit wore out.And to replace it is more than a new wireless unit complete

I've had good luck with their SSB receiver. Even with the UKPound exchange the wind unit (wireless) will still run you $456. A Triton wind sensor (masthead unit) will run you about $500. I would need to know the age of your unit and I can contact Simrad.
