The Whitby Brewer History Project was a massive undertaking by Jeanie Lee a few years back. Jeanie scoured online resources, old WBSA records and polled our user base to assemble the current database of historical records of every Whitby and Brewer sailboat built at Whitby Boat Works in Whitby, Ontario and Fort Myers Yacht and Shipbuilding in Ft. Myers, Florida from 1972 until 1990.

Jeanie has handed over the maintenance and the role of membership coordinator to me, so that the crew of SV Joie de Vivre can venture forth to further ports.

If you have information on any of the boats that is not listed in our database, please email me at membership[at]whitbybrewersailboats.com.

Thank you Jeanie!!!!!!!! Fair Winds for your travels!!

As I exit the stage as Membership Coordonator, I would like to thank the entire admin team here at WBSA for all of their invaluable advice and expertise in launching the Whitby Brewer Boat History, and for Cindy Ann's willingness to take over the project.

Also, a HUGE thank you to all of the boat owners who have shared their information for the project. I would definitely like to encourage everyone to take a look at their own boat's record and send any further updates to Cindy Ann (especially important is supplying any missing full 12 or 13-digit HIN so boat records can be properly matched).

You can visit the Boat History at www.whitbybrewersailboats.com/members-only or by clicking on the "Owners Only" link on the main menu.
