We are the proud owners of a recently acquired 12.8. We are a bit perplexed as to how to designs a cockpit table. Any insight would be greatly appreciated

I recently built one for my Brewer 44. I bought the table top from Defender and then made two legs from 1” oak dowels. The wheel comes off and the forward end attaches to the spindle. The admiral loves it.

Here is the design I made. The table is on all the time, except for repair or revarnishing. The leaves fold up/down to allow ready movement and they are suspended by sliding arms that store out of the way underneath the table top. The top is split so I can “stear” it over the compass GPS and gear shifter. Works fine.
