Just wanted to share a novel solution to a problem. I had the "typical" steel plug in aluminum housing on my injector pump oil plug. The plug stripped out (wait lefty loosy righty tighty - upside down it's.................). Anyway, I took the injector pump off the engine and brought to a diesel injector specialist, and he ended up brazing a stem valve into the housing. Now when I need to change the injector oil (every 50-75 hours) all I do is rotate the valve and drain the pump. Simple solution to a nagging problem.
